To use a Soar eSIM, your phone needs to: 1. Support eSIM, and 2. Be carrier-unlocked. Phones bought on a plan with Rogers, Bell, TELUS, Fido, Koodo, Virgin etc. are often locked. Since Dec 2017, Canadian carriers must unlock phones free on request, so ask yours before you travel.
