Get online the moment you land, without roaming fees, SIM kiosks or swapping tiny cards.
1. Pick your destination and plan
Choose a country or a multi-country plan, and the amount of data you need. Check the currency shown at checkout before paying. Your bank or card provider may apply currency conversion fees.
2. Get your QR code by email
Your eSIM QR code is delivered by email after purchase, along with a one-tap install link for iPhone and a manual activation code. Can't find it? Check your spam or promotions folder, or contact us.
3. Install it at home, on Wi-Fi
- iPhone: Settings › Cellular (Mobile Data) › Add eSIM › Use QR Code, or just tap the install link in the email.
- Android (Pixel / Samsung): Settings › Network & internet (Connections) › SIMs › Add eSIM › scan the QR code.
Label it "Soar eSIM" so it's easy to spot. Don't delete your eSIM. Keep it until your trip is over (if it's deleted while still active, it can usually be reinstalled from the same QR code). Once activated, it can't be moved to another phone.
Installing early is fine. You have 180 days from purchase to activate. Your plan's days only start counting when the eSIM first connects to a network at your destination.
4. Switch it on when you land
- Turn on the Soar eSIM line and turn on Data Roaming for that line. (It's a travel eSIM, so it roams onto local networks.)
- Set Soar eSIM as your mobile data line.
- Keep your home SIM on for calls and texts if you want, but turn off data roaming on it to avoid carrier charges.
5. Enjoy, and keep your number
Your eSIM is data only: no local phone number. Your regular number stays on your home SIM, and apps like WhatsApp, iMessage and FaceTime keep working over data.
Something not working?
Restart your phone, check that data roaming is on for the eSIM line, and try selecting a network manually. Still stuck? Email us with your order number. We'll troubleshoot with you first; if we can't fix it, we'll look at a refund case by case. Not installed yet? Full refund, no questions. Refund policy
